Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Watchpost ("Watchpost," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit watchpostai.com (the "Site") or use our products and services (together, the "Services"). We built Watchpost to protect people from malicious AI agents, so we take your privacy seriously and collect as little as we need.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and, if you choose, the type of user you are (for example, "small business"). If you contact us, we collect what you include in your message.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. This is used for security and to keep the Site running.
- Information from the Services. When the Watchpost product becomes available, it may process technical information about AI agent activity on the devices or systems you choose to protect, such as which agents are running and what actions they attempt. We will describe this in more detail, and update this policy, before the product launches.
2. How we use information
- To add you to our waitlist and send you updates about Watchpost, including early access invitations.
- To respond to your questions and requests.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site and Services, and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
3. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run Watchpost (for example, our web host and email provider), who may use it only to provide services to us; when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public; or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you.
4. Cookies
The Site does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
5. Data retention
We keep your waitlist information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purposes above.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and storing waitlist data outside the public part of our web server. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
7. Your rights and choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information. Depending on where you live (for example, California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights under local law. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law.
8. Children
Watchpost is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
Watchpost is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or on the Site.
